Jake Davidson first read Judd Kahn’s celebrated treatise on Value Investing well before they ever met. After Judd’s son (Jake’s professor at USC) introduced the two, Judd began mentoring Jake.
Eventually, Jake convinced Judd to launch Rule 2 Investments, running a long only equity strategy for separately managed accounts. Jake and Judd quickly learned that clients wanted a holistic solution to money management, so they started Davidson Kahn Capital Management to offer a more comprehensive wealth management service.
Drawing on Jake’s background in accounting and operating businesses and Judd’s decades of experience in investment management, together they realized that they could offer a differentiated approach to wealth management.
